Self-Compassion and Self-Love

"Your task is not to seek for love, but merely to seek and find all the barriers within yourself that you have built against it."

Rumi

Self-love and compassion

Self-compassion and self-care: unlock a deeper sense of love and kindness towards yourself

When we talk about self-compassion and self-love, what do we mean? Well, it's certainly not not about being selfish or indulgent. It's about treating yourself with the same kindness and understanding you'd offer a good friend. It's about acknowledging that being tough on yourself doesn't do you any favours and learning how to be your own supporter instead of your harshest critic.

And what it isn't? It's not ignoring your flaws or pretending everything's perfect. It's about accepting yourself, warts and all, and understanding that perfection is an impossible and frankly, a pretty dull goal. Self-compassion and self-love is about making peace with who you are and where you are in life, and finding ways to nurture yourself through the good times and the tough ones.

The Self-Compassion and Self-Love Day Retreat is a deeply nurturing day of relaxation and self-care in a supportive and immersive environment which includes mindfulness practices, guided meditations, deep relaxation, yoga nidra (NSDR) and mindful movement in nature.

I'm here to remind you that it’s not just okay to take care of yourself; it’s essential. And doing it in a way that’s real, that acknowledges the ups and downs and brings a bit of lightness and laughter? Well, that’s the goal.

So, if you’re nodding along thinking, "Yes, this is what I need," then why not join us? It’s going to be a day to remember - a day where you’re the priority. Let’s laugh, maybe cry a bit (because stillness and being real can do that) and most importantly, let’s do this together.

I can't wait to see you there and share in this day of self-compassion and love.
